Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures, system malfunctions, and operational issues. Install, set up, and commission new production lines and manufacturing equipment. Conduct routine inspections and adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance and efficiency. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams for repairs and installations. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. 3+ years of experience as a Mechanic or Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and manuals. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex machinery. Adherence to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. Bonus Qualifications Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting or basic programming. Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick) for repairs and fabrication. Familiarity with robotics or other advanced automation systems. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
