Girls' PE Teacher (Secondary) Location: West Yorkshire (Leeds/Bradford/Kirklees area) Salary: MPS/UPS (£31,650 – £49,000+ dependent on experience) Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent The Opportunity Are you a high-energy educator committed to breaking barriers in women's sport? We are looking for an inspiring Girls' PE Teacher to join a vibrant Secondary School in West Yorkshire for the 2026/27 academic year. In this role, you won't just be teaching sports; you’ll be building confidence, teamwork, and resilience. We need a specialist who can engage every student—from those who represent the county to those who are just finding their footing in physical activity. Key Responsibilities Curriculum Delivery: Lead high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 , including GCSE PE and BTEC Sport options. Diverse Sports Provision: Deliver a broad range of activities including netball, football, dance, athletics, and emerging fitness trends. Extra-Curricular Leadership: Run lunchtime and after-school clubs, coordinating fixtures across West Yorkshire and celebrating student success. Role Modeling: Act as a champion for girls' wellbeing, body positivity, and mental health through physical activity. What You Bring to the Table QTS/QTLS Status: A recognized teaching qualification (current PGCE students and 2026 ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply).
