The Role The school is seeking an organised and analytical Data Manager to oversee the management of the school’s data systems. This role will involve maintaining accurate student records, managing assessment data and producing reports that support teaching staff and senior leaders in monitoring student progress. The successful candidate will ensure that the school’s information systems operate efficiently and that data is presented clearly to support decision-making across the school. Key Responsibilities Managing the school’s Management Information System (MIS) Maintaining accurate student data records Supporting the collection and analysis of assessment data Producing reports for senior leadership and teaching staff Supporting the organisation of examination and results data Managing statutory data returns and school census requirements Supporting staff with the use of data systems Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations Person Specification The successful candidate will demonstrate: Strong analytical and organisational skills Excellent attention to detail Experience managing or analysing data Confidence using spreadsheets and data systems Strong communication skills when presenting data to staff The ability to work independently and manage deadlines Experience working in a school environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
