Project Manager

About the position

On behalf of our client - a leading B2B consulting firm in Forex CFD and prop-trading, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee our client's entire project-operations with customer-first and result-driven. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role will be taking care of delivery of projects with good planning & execution, ensuring they are completed with planned budget and arranged timeline. Location : Hybrid / Remote – Malta Note: Please note that the company is currently able to consider candidates who already have the legal right to work and reside within the Schengen Area and are open to relocating to Malta. At this stage, the company is unable to provide visa sponsorship or relocation support. Responsibilities: As a Project Manager , your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Plan, manage, and deliver projects across online trading and financial technology operations, including brokerage and proprietary trading environments. Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, trading operations, customer support, compliance, and business stakeholders. Define project scope, timelines, milestones, budgets, and measurable success metrics. Translate business and trading requirements into clear technical and operational deliverables. Oversee projects related to trading platforms, back-office systems, CRM tools, liquidity integrations, and risk management infrastructure. Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential bottlenecks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies. Ensure regulatory, risk management, and compliance considerations are integrated into project execution. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project progress, key metrics, and potential blockers. Support continuous process improvement, operational efficiency, and scalability initiatives across the organization. Requirements: Proven experience working as a Project Manager within the trading, fintech, or financial services industry (3+ years preferred). Solid understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks. Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Excellent documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication abilities.
