Infotainment HMI Linguistic Validation – Slovenian Assignment Overview For our client, We are seeking a native Slovenian language specialist to support linguistic validation of infotainment Human Machine Interface (HMI) translations prior to market release. The infotainment system will be launched in several new European markets, including Slovenia . Slovenian translations have already been completed and now require professional linguistic validation to ensure accuracy, usability, and consistency within the automotive user interface. Even when translations are completed, linguistic issues may still occur due to: Incorrect terminology Grammatical or syntactical errors Inconsistent wording Contextual inaccuracies Cultural adaptation issues Text truncation or layout constraints Misinterpretation of automotive terminology Undetected linguistic issues can negatively impact user experience, product quality perception, and brand reputation . The objective of this assignment is to review the translated content, identify linguistic issues, and propose corrected translations aligned with automotive HMI standards and best practices. Scope of Work The assignment focuses on linguistic validation of the Slovenian infotainment HMI language . The consultant will: Identify translation errors and inconsistencies Validate grammar, terminology, and clarity Ensure linguistic consistency across infotainment functions Propose corrected and context-appropriate translations Document all findings in a structured format To ensure both textual and contextual validation, the work will be conducted in three phases . Required Competencies: Mandatory Native Slovenian speaker Fluent English Experience with UX writing or linguistic validation for digital user interfaces Strong understanding of automotive and infotainment terminology Experience documenting linguistic review findings in a structured format Meritorious Previous experience with automotive HMI validation Experience with translation management systems Familiarity with localization workflows Knowledge of additional European languages such as: Swedish Danish Dutch German Spanish French Italian Norwegian
