The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across DeWitt seeking Bookkeepers who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable, including vendor invoices for raw materials and operational supplies. Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing customers for manufactured goods and payment application. Perform accurate bank and credit card reconciliations. Process payroll for all employees, including production staff, ensuring compliance. Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate classification of transactions and manufacturing costs. Prepare and review monthly financial statements such as the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet. Track and record fixed assets and associated depreciation for manufacturing equipment. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Solid understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and production-related financial transactions. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Strong grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting. Bonus Qualifications Experience with ERP systems common in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Basic understanding of cost accounting principles (e.g., inventory valuation, COGS). Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with inventory management processes. Experience with multi-entity accounting or intercompany transactions.
