About the role The successful candidate will lead the DT department while delivering engaging lessons and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning across the subject. The role will involve: Leading and developing the Design & Technology department Teaching DT across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on specialism Driving high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment Supporting and mentoring members of the DT team Overseeing curriculum development and schemes of work Ensuring high standards of health and safety within workshops and practical areas You will play a key role in shaping the direction of the department and ensuring students develop strong design, technical, and problem-solving skills.
