THE ROLE Legends Global is seeking a high-calibre Project Manager to act as the operational bridge between Legends and Real Madrid across eCommerce, digital transformation, and retail technology initiatives. This role is accountable for end-to-end project governance, stakeholder alignment, delivery timelines, and risk mitigation across a complex, multi-market, multi-system environment. The successful candidate will operate at both strategic and executional levels — translating board-level objectives into structured delivery plans while ensuring day-to-day programme control. You will sit at the intersection of commercial, technical, and operational teams across both organisations. That’s why we reward your dedication with benefits that matter: - 🧒❤️ Childcare vouchers to make family life a little easier - 🧑 ⚕️ 👩 ⚕️ a comprehensive health insurance with Aegon to keep yourself and your loved ones covered -⚽ 🎾 company support to get your game on with your favourite sporting activities and keeping you active - ☀️ a pension scheme with Generali so your future is just as bright as today - 🫶 a flexible hybrid work setting giving you up to 52 days a year to work from home! - 🥗 💳 a Pluxee restaurant card to treat yourself to great meals CORE OBJECTIVES Own delivery of cross-functional digital commerce projects between Legends and Real Madrid Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to agreed scope Maintain executive-level visibility across milestones, risks, and financials Drive structured communication between internal Legends teams and Real Madrid stakeholders Establish scalable governance frameworks to support future programme expansion KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Programme & Project Delivery: Lead multiple concurrent projects across: eCommerce platform development (e.g. Shopify Plus / Headless environments) Payments and Markets rollout PIM, CRM and marketing integrations Membership / IDP flows OMS / ERP integrations Define project scope, success criteria, and KPIs Build and manage detailed project plans (timeline, budget, resource allocation) Run structured sprint ceremonies where relevant (if Agile delivery model applied) Manage dependencies across technical, marketing, trading, operations and logistics teams Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary operational liaison between Legends and Real Madrid Facilitate weekly governance calls and executive steering committees Translate technical updates into commercially relevant reporting Align cross-border teams (UK, Spain, US where applicable) Escalate issues proactively with mitigation plans Financial & Commercial Oversight: Track project budgets and resource utilisation Support P&L impact assessments and ROI tracking Monitor vendor contracts and third-party deliverables Ensure scope discipline to avoid cost creep Risk & Compliance Management: Identify and manage delivery risks (technical, operational, regulatory) Ensure GDPR, EU data residency, and platform compliance requirements are met Maintain RAID logs and escalation protocols Drive post-launch review and optimisation cycles Process & Governance: Implement best-in-class PMO standards across the programme Create clear RACI matrices across Legends and Real Madrid teams Maintain centralised documentation (roadmaps, requirements, test plans, release notes) Drive continuous improvement in cross-company collaboration QUALIFICATIONS Required Experience 5–8+ years in project management within digital commerce or retail technology Experience managing enterprise-level eCommerce platforms (Shopify Plus, headless architecture, OMS, ERP, PIM) Demonstrated experience working with high-profile or global brands Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness Experience operating in matrixed, international organisations Desirable Experience within sports, fashion, or licensed retail Experience working across Spanish and UK stakeholders Familiarity with multi-market payments and Shopify Markets Understanding of CRM and membership ecosystems Key competencies Executive-level communication Strong governance discipline Structured problem solving Commercially literate decision-making Cross-cultural stakeholder management High attention to detail with ability to zoom out strategically INCLUSIVE WORKPLACE At Legends Global , we are committed to leading the entertainment industry towards a greener, faster, and more innovative digital future.
