Senior DevOps Engineer (Onsite, Lahore, USD Salary)

About the position

Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related engineering tools. Industry experience in eCommerce, FinTech or Subscriptions based environments is highly desirable. AWS Certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner and/or AWS Certified Solution Architect. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Oracle Cloud, Azure, or Google Cloud. Expertise in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash) and tools like Git, Docker, Grafana, etc. Solid understanding of security protocols and best practices. Strong problem-solving and analytics skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, secure and cost-effective cloud infrastructure. Manage and monitor production, staging and development environments. Develop and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Set up and maintain robust monitoring systems using tools like CloudWatch, Grafana and similar platforms. Implement and enforce security best practices, including vulnerability assessments and patch management. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security standards. Continuously evaluate and optimize system performance, workflows, and processes. Work closely with development and other IT teams to integrate DevOps practices effectively.
