About the role The Year 2 Teacher will secure core outcomes in reading, writing and mathematics within a joyful classroom culture. Starting January 2026, the Year 2 Teacher oversees guided reading, reasoning-led maths and knowledge-rich topics. The Year 2 Teacher collaborates with specialists and the SENDCo, plans ahead of January 2026, attends induction in January 2026, and carries full responsibility from January 2026. With small classes, the Year 2 Teacher can personalise pathways and celebrate rapid gains through spring 2026. About the school This Richmond Independent School combines scholarship with kindness.
