David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit a Network Administrator for their Gaming studios in Bogota, Colombia. Position: Network Administrator Location: Bogota, Colombia Employment type: Full-time Remuneration: Base salary DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and high performance Manage Cisco networking devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points Oversee daily network operations including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization to maintain uninterrupted connectivity Configure and manage wireless networks ensuring stable connections and security compliance Provide system administration support for Linux and Windows environments, configuring network services and security protocols Diagnose and resolve network issues across routing, switching, and wireless systems using appropriate diagnostic tools Implement and maintain network security measures including ACLs, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems Ensure full compliance with internal security standards and operational procedures. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or administration Strong expertise in managing Cisco networking equipment and wireless infrastructure Solid understanding of Windows and Linux system administration and network services In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, BGP, and OSPF Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, PRTG, Zabbix, or Nagios Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken Flexible to work in rotating shifts within a 24/7 live studio environment - 6.30am - 3.30pm, 10am - 7pm 2.30pm - 11.30pm, 10.30pm - 7.30am. Detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
