Start Date: January 2026 A successful secondary school in Essex is seeking a dedicated Design & Technology Technician to join its dynamic DT department from January 2026. The Role You’ll support staff and students in delivering engaging, creative practical lessons across Product Design, Graphics, and Resistant Materials. The Department The DT team is friendly and forward-thinking, with modern workshops equipped with laser cutters, 3D printers, and CAD/CAM tools. The department prides itself on its innovative and practical approach to learning. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain tools, machinery, and materials. Support practical lessons and student projects. Ensure safety standards are met and risk assessments followed. Manage stock and order supplies efficiently. Assist in school exhibitions and technology showcases. About You Practical background in DT, engineering, or similar field. Strong understanding of workshop safety.
