Start Date: January 2026 A high-performing independent school in Watford is recruiting an enthusiastic PE Teacher to join its sports faculty from January 2026. The school takes pride in promoting excellence, health, and teamwork through a rich and varied sports curriculum. The Role You’ll teach PE across all key stages and coach pupils in both competitive and recreational sports. You’ll have the opportunity to lead on extracurricular activities and fixtures across local and national levels. The Department The PE department enjoys state-of-the-art facilities including a sports hall, swimming pool, and full-sized pitches. Staff work together to promote sporting excellence and inclusivity. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3–KS5. Coach school teams and support inter-school tournaments. Promote personal development and wellbeing through sport. Organise extracurricular activities and events. Ensure high safety and safeguarding standards. About You Qualified PE teacher with coaching experience. Motivational, enthusiastic, and approachable.
