History Teacher (ECT) – Chesterfield – January 2026

A large, successful 11–18 school in Chesterfield is seeking an engaging and committed Early Career Teacher of History to join its Humanities faculty from January 2026 . The leadership team is experienced in supporting new teachers and has a proven track record of developing ECTs into outstanding practitioners. The Department History is a popular option at GCSE and A-Level, with a strong, knowledge-based curriculum and an emphasis on debate, interpretation and critical thinking. The department plans collaboratively, ensuring consistent standards and high-quality resources. The Opportunity You’ll teach KS3–KS4 History, with opportunities to observe A-Level teaching as you grow in confidence.
