A vibrant Good primary in Guildford seeks an experienced and ambitious Year 4 Teacher to join its KS2 team on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The successful Year 4 Teacher will be involved in pre-term planning before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 4 Teacher. This role offers strong subject leadership, opportunities for curriculum development, and a supportive senior team dedicated to teacher growth from January 2026. • Year 4 Teacher — Full-Time position available with a January 2026 start • Year 4 Teacher to join an ambitious Guildford primary — January 2026 start • Year 4 Teacher to receive subject coaching and CPD from January 2026 Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities • Plan coherent, knowledge-rich maths and English sequences as the Year 4 Teacher. • Use assessment to personalise learning and run focused interventions as the Year 4 Teacher. • Lead enrichment, trips and cross-curricular projects and contribute to subject development as the Year 4 Teacher. • Work with colleagues in KS2 and attend moderation sessions scheduled before and after January 2026 as the Year 4 Teacher. Year 4 Teacher Requirements • QTS and solid KS2 experience expected of the Year 4 Teacher. • A Year 4 Teacher with strong subject knowledge, effective behaviour strategies and a collaborative spirit. • Available to prepare prior to January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach as a Full-Time Year 4 Teacher from January 2026. Curriculum leadership & development for the Year 4 Teacher The Year 4 Teacher will have opportunities to lead a subject strand, develop schemes of learning and mentor colleagues within the KS2 phase. The Year 4 Teacher will participate in subject development meetings beginning prior to January 2026 and will contribute to the school's improvement plan after the January 2026 start. This Full-Time Year 4 Teacher role allows the Year 4 Teacher to refine assessment practice and to trial research-informed approaches. Professional support and wellbeing for the Year 4 Teacher The school prioritises staff wellbeing: the Year 4 Teacher will benefit from protected PPA, regular supervision and access to external CPD. The Year 4 Teacher will receive mentoring from senior leaders from the January 2026 induction and will join a collaborative team committed to excellence after January 2026.
