About the Role As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and secure running of internal and external examinations. Responsibilities include: • Setting up examination rooms and distributing materials • Supervising students during exams to ensure all regulations are followed • Providing a calm and supportive presence to help maintain a focused environment • Assisting with collecting, counting and securing exam papers • Ensuring exam conditions meet JCQ and school policies • Responding to queries and issues during the examination as required • Working effectively with the Exams Officer and wider team This role offers flexible hours , with sessions available during mornings and afternoons depending on the exam timetable. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided. Experience and Qualifications • No specific qualifications required • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Good organisational ability and attention to detail • Reliability, punctuality and a calm manner essential • Ability to follow procedures and safeguarding expectations • Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one) Salary Paid hourly according to the school’s support staff pay structure.
