A high-performing 11–18 secondary school in Shropshire is seeking an ambitious Design & Technology Teacher to join its Creative and Technical faculty from January 2026 . DT is a key part of the curriculum, helping students develop practical skills, problem-solving ability and creative thinking. The Role You’ll teach across KS3–KS5, with the opportunity to specialise in Product Design, Resistant Materials or Engineering depending on experience. Lessons focus on applying design theory to real-world contexts through iterative design, CAD/CAM and project-based learning. Facilities The department boasts excellent facilities including: Modern workshops and design studios. CAD/CAM suite with 3D printers, laser cutters and CNC machines. About You Qualified Teacher of DT with QTS or equivalent. Confident in practical teaching and workshop management. Enthusiastic about innovation and sustainability in design.
