Experience and Qualifications Specialist Mathematics teacher with strong subject knowledge An enthusiastic, inspiring classroom practitioner with evidence of impact Experience of teaching GCSE (A Level desirable) QTS/PGCE (or equivalent) Legal right to work in the UK School Information Roll: Approximately 1,600 students (11–18) , including a Sixth Form of ~400 Culture: High expectations, strong pastoral systems, and a broad curriculum that prepares students for university, apprenticeships, and STEM pathways Facilities: Modern classrooms with interactive displays/visualisers, strong ICT provision, and dedicated Sixth Form study spaces Mathematics Department Uptake: Large cohorts at GCSE and strong A Level numbers (Maths and Further Maths) with multiple teaching groups Outcomes: Consistently high progress; GCSE grades 9–7 above national ; A Level A –B strong year-on-year * Destinations: Significant progression to Russell Group and other selective universities for Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, and Physics Enrichment: UKMT challenges , problem-solving circles, Maths Olympiad entries, mentoring/tutoring schemes, and cross-curricular STEM projects.
