About the position
A friendly and forward-thinking secondary school in Loughborough is looking to appoint a Spanish ECT to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from January 2026. The MFL department has a strong focus on consistency, clarity and confidence-building, with shared schemes of work designed to support early career teachers. You will receive: A reduced timetable and dedicated mentor Clear lesson structures and shared resources Regular feedback focused on classroom practice Support with behaviour management and assessment Your role will include: Teaching Spanish across KS3–KS4 Developing students’ speaking and listening confidence Supporting vocabulary acquisition and cultural understanding Contributing to a collaborative departmental culture This is an excellent opportunity for a Spanish ECT seeking a well-supported and structured start to their teaching career.
