About the position

Client: This German provider specializes in cybersecurity solutions focused on automated vulnerability management. Their platform enables organizations to proactively identify, assess, and remediate security weaknesses across their IT infrastructure, supporting compliance needs and reducing cyber risk through regular network scanning and actionable reporting. It’s particularly valued by enterprises and public institutions needing robust protection and adherence to European data privacy standards. • Focus will be on enhancing and extending the client’s vulnerability management solutions hosted largely as open-source projects on GitHub. • Developers will work as part of an agile team, collaborating closely with the client’s engineers and product owners. Core Stack: • Golang (several years’ experience; building robust, maintainable, testable services). • JavaScript/TypeScript & React (practical experience to contribute across backend, and frontend). • PostgreSQL (data modeling, performance tuning, complex queries). • Docker (containerization, CI/CD integration, deployments). • OpenSearch (indexing, search optimization, integration with microservices). • Development Practices • Agile (Scrum/Kanban) experience. • Used to pair programming, code reviews, and clean code principles. • CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar). • Test automation (unit, integration, E2E). • Experience delivering end-to-end products to production.
