Your Mission as a Digital Drilling Engineer As a Digital Drilling Engineer, your mission is to bridge the gap between IT and field drilling operations. You will leverage your technical expertise and operational background to oversee digital drilling initiatives, ensure accurate real-time data transmission, and support advanced geo-steering and drilling optimization efforts. You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as a Digital Drilling Engineer Manage digital drilling activities across operations, ensuring data integrity and seamless real-time transmission. Conduct data quality control and perform in-depth data interpretation to support drilling decisions. Optimize drilling performance by evaluating key parameters and implementing improvements. Provide on-site and remote support for digital drilling solutions, ensuring reliable setup and operation. Coordinate with field teams and clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction. Setup and configure required equipment to activate and maintain rig-based digital solutions. Calibrate and install drilling rig sensors, ensuring accurate and reliable measurements. Understand and manage the full scope of real-time data workflows and digital infrastructure. Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as a Digital Drilling Engineer Strong background in drilling operations, preferably as a Mud Logger, MWD/LWD Engineer, or Directional Driller. Proven experience with horizontal wells and geo-steering processes. Solid understanding of drilling rig systems and sensor technology. Hands-on experience in digital drilling solutions setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with real-time data transmission, data workflows, and digital rig infrastructure. Strong communication skills and experience in client-facing roles. Ability to work both on-site and remotely, supporting 24/7 drilling operations.
