Infotainment Test Engineer

About the position

The Role We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Infotainment Test Engineer to join an automotive R&D organization working with premium electric vehicles. In this role, you will be responsible for the verification and validation of in-vehicle infotainment systems, with a strong focus on functional testing of customer-facing features. You will work closely with infotainment developers, system engineers, UX/design teams, and other verification functions to ensure high-quality infotainment solutions delivered to vehicles in the European market. The assignment primarily operates at system level and vehicle level within the infotainment verification and validation process. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the execution of agreed verification strategies, test plans, and test activities for infotainment systems Perform functional and system-level testing of infotainment features Design, develop, maintain, and review test cases Execute tests in both bench environments and vehicles Review requirements, test basis, and verification documentation Track, analyze, and report test results, deviations, defects, and verification risks to test leaders and project stakeholders Participate in test expeditions, including vehicle-based validation in different markets and environments Actively contribute to continuous improvement of test methods, tools, automation, and efficiency Verification Scope The role covers functional verification across key infotainment domains, including: Navigation Connectivity & Telematics Radio / DAB Apple CarPlay & Android Auto Voice Assistant UX/UI Digital Key Mobile Applications App Store / Embedded Apps Required Qualifications B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive and/or infotainment testing Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with structured test case design and verification methodologies Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams Valid driving license Personal Attributes Self-driven and structured, with strong ownership of verification tasks Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced development environment Proactive in identifying risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities Clear and transparent in reporting status, progress, and issues Strong collaboration mindset toward both internal teams and external stakeholders
