Your Job Responsabilities As part of our ongoing strategic growth, we are seeking a Java Developer (M/F) to join our dynamic technology team. Working closely with project leads and engineers, you will contribute to innovative software development projects and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions in diverse domains. Design, develop, test, and maintain reliable Java applications and services Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best software engineering practices Participate in the analysis, estimation, and implementation of technical requirements Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, QA engineers, and other development teams Contribute to the evolution of our architecture, integrating modern frameworks, APIs, and libraries Support code reviews and continuous integration efforts to ensure code quality and best practices Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance and reliability Document technical solutions and share knowledge within the team Your Profile Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience Solid hands-on experience (3+ years preferred) in Java development (Java 8+) Proficiency with frameworks and technologies such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate or JPA Good understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and web technologies Familiarity with modern development tools: Git, Maven or Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is advantageous Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2 or higher) Soft Skills Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving capabilities Effective team player, able to collaborate in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams Attention to detail and passion for delivering technical excellence Proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute to cutting-edge projects Why Join Fortil?
