Year 1 Teacher Responsibilities · Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons tailored to the needs of Year 1 students. · Implement engaging teaching strategies to inspire curiosity and a love of learning. · Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and guidance. · Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and collaboration. · Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and wellbeing. · Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share best practices. · Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities as required. Year 1 Teacher Requirements · Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. · Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. · Proven experience teaching Year 1 students in a primary school setting. · Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 curriculum. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs. · Dedication to ongoing professional development and current educational practices. · Flexibility and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.
