Are you a creative and committed Year 4 Teacher who enjoys crafting memorable learning experiences and developing deep subject knowledge? A forward-thinking primary school in Fulham is recruiting a motivated Year 4 Teacher to join their lower-KS2 phase from January 2026. This Year 4 Teacher role in Fulham includes responsibility for planning progressive sequences that develop reading fluency, writing composition and mathematical reasoning. The Year 4 Teacher will lead focused interventions, coordinate with support staff and contribute to curriculum refinement. A comprehensive induction and handover will be provided prior to January 2026, enabling the Year 4 Teacher to be classroom-ready at the beginning of January 2026 and quickly integrated into the Fulham school community. Role responsibilities Plan and teach sequenced Year 4 units that build long-term knowledge and vocabulary. Lead guided-reading groups, model writing strategies and deliver fluency work. Provide targeted small-group and one-to-one interventions, monitoring progress and adapting resources. Work closely with teaching assistants to scaffold tasks and support inclusion for diverse learners. Engage with parents and carers, contributing to reporting and transition activities across Fulham. Person specification Qualified teacher with demonstrable Year 4 experience and measurable impact on pupil outcomes. Strong subject knowledge in English and mathematics and skilled at using assessment to inform teaching.
