Your Role as Design Technology Teacher: 🔹 Deliver Innovative Lessons – Teach design and technology across multiple disciplines, including product design, CAD, and engineering. 🔹 Inspire Creativity – Encourage students to think creatively and practically to solve design problems. 🔹 Support Practical Learning – Foster a hands-on learning approach with projects that challenge students to apply their technical skills. 🔹 Monitor Student Progress – Track and assess students’ projects and assignments, providing constructive feedback to enhance their development. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching design technology, preferably in an independent school setting. ✅ Passionate About Design & Technology – A strong passion for the subject, with the ability to inspire students. ✅ Skilled in Multiple Disciplines – Expertise in product design, CAD, engineering, and other DT subjects. ✅ Creative & Practical – A hands-on, innovative approach to teaching, encouraging students to explore and experiment. ✅ Empathetic & Supportive – A nurturing teaching style, able to guide students of various abilities and backgrounds. ✅ Strong Communication Skills – Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents. ✅ An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
