About the position

Location: Hammersmith, West London Position: Full-Time, Temp until July 2025 (Potential for Permanent Role) Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on experience) Start Date: April 2025 We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join our friendly and supportive two-form entry primary school in Hammersmith, West London. This is a full-time, temporary position until July 2025, with the potential for a permanent role in the future. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students in Year 2. Ensure students are progressing in line with the national curriculum, supporting them in their learning and development. Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to thrive. Work collaboratively with the Year 2 team and support staff to create an enriching learning experience. Key Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in a primary school, particularly in Key Stage 1 (desirable). Strong understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and assessment requirements. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to teaching.
