About the Science Department The Science Faculty is large, specialist, and highly collaborative, comprising subject experts in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The department places a strong emphasis on practical investigation and scientific enquiry, supported by excellent facilities and a skilled team of technicians. As an ECT, you will be supported with team-teaching opportunities, shared planning, and weekly developmental mentoring sessions to help you establish strong classroom practice. The Role • Teach Science across KS3–KS4 (KS5 opportunities available later) • Deliver practical, experiment-led lessons that inspire curiosity • Work collaboratively on planning, assessments, and enrichment activities • Contribute to STEM clubs, competitions, and wider school life Requirements • ECT specialising in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics route) • Strong subject knowledge across KS3–KS4 combined science • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality science education Application: If you are interested, please send your CV as soon as possible.
