About the position

Role: Senior Program Manager PMU- Odisha [ECCE] Experience: 4-5 years Salary: 8-10 LPA ________________________________________________ Role Overview The Senior Program Manager will work closely with the Department of Women and Child Development and ICDS Department in Bhubaneswar. You'll spend 70% of your time working within these departments on policy implementation and research, and 30% on field visits to districts for program monitoring and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities Manage relationships with government departments and stakeholders Support policy implementation and research for Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) programs Conduct data analysis and prepare reports for government stakeholders Oversee project implementation across districts in Odisha Make quarterly field visits to 2-3 districts for program launches and events Assist with budget planning and management for ECCE initiatives Draft formal communications in Odia, Hindi, and English Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Sciences, Education, Management, or related field (Master's preferred) Experience: 4-5 years in project management, public policy, or program implementation Minimum 2 years working with government departments Experience in fieldwork and on-ground program implementation Skills: Strong understanding of government operations in education and child development sectors Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Strategic thinking and analytical capabilities Project management expertise Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools Fluency in English, Hindi, and Odia (written and spoken) What Makes You Successful Strong analytical and data-driven decision making abilities Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Self-starter who takes ownership in ambiguous situations Willingness to travel regularly for field visits - Hiring Note : Applications will be reviewed on rolling basis.
