Sales and Marketing Manager

About the position

Job Summary The Marketing & Sales Manager is responsible for leading the strategic planning and execution of both marketing and sales initiatives to drive the growth and profitability of the companys pharmaceutical products. This role oversees product positioning, brand management, customer engagement, sales force performance, and ensures alignment with regulatory and compliance standards in the pharmaceutical industry. Main Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Planning & Execution Develop and implement annual sales and marketing plans aligned with business objectives. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to shape strategic direction. Set revenue targets, growth objectives, and budget allocations for marketing and sales departments. 2. Sales Management Lead and monitor the performance of the sales team, including sales reps and key account managers. Design sales strategies for various segments: hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, wholesalers, and distributors. Build strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers in the healthcare sector. Oversee tender applications, contract negotiations, and pricing strategies. 3.Marketing & Brand Development Plan and execute marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities. Manage the creation of product brochures, advertising materials, and digital content. Ensure consistent brand identity across all channels. Collaborate with R\&D and regulatory teams on product positioning and technical support materials. 5. Market Intelligence & Product Development Gather customer insights, feedback, and competitor intelligence to guide product development. Identify opportunities for new product introductions or market expansion. Liaise with production and supply chain to ensure product availability meets market demand. 6. Team Leadership & Development Recruit, train, and mentor sales and marketing staff. Conduct performance reviews, set KPIs, and implement incentive programs. Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented team culture. Main Requirements: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Masters degree or MBA preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and marketing and 2 years in management role, Experience in pharmaceutical industry is a plus. Proven success in leading teams and achieving revenue targets.
