We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Science Teacher with a focus on KS5 development (ability to teach at least one science to A-Level) to join our Science department. This role offers the potential to take on leadership responsibilities with a TLR for the right candidate, focusing on our A-Level provision. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3-5, specializing in at least one science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) at A-Level. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, especially for advanced learners. Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including practical experiments, to enhance A-Level learning. Lead the development and implementation of innovative A-Level Science curriculum. Degree in a Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics). Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level, with a strong emphasis on A-Level. Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Science curriculum, especially at KS5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated leadership potential in KS5 delivery (for TLR consideration). Ability to teach at least one science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) to A-Level.
