About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3-5, following exam specifications and incorporating advanced mathematical concepts. Plan and deliver lessons that foster mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources. Assess student progress through regular assessments, problem-solving tasks, and written examinations, providing detailed feedback to support their development. Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum, integrating current mathematical research and real-world applications, and participate in departmental planning and collaboration. Organize and lead maths-related activities, such as maths clubs, competitions, and problem-solving workshops, promoting student engagement and mathematical inquiry. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong Maths subject knowledge, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics. Demonstrated experience teaching Maths to A-Level, with a focus on both theoretical concepts and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students in a rigorous academic environment.
