About the position

Develop students' creative design processes, technical analyse, and manufacturing proficiency. Manage workshop resources efficiently, strictly upholding high standards of safety and organisation. Contribute actively to extracurricular clubs, such as model-making or robotics groups. Uphold the school’s commitment to high teaching standards and practical excellence. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and eligibility to complete the ECF. A relevant degree specialism in Design Technology, Engineering, or a related practical field. Technical proficiency in relevant workshop machinery, CAD/CAM software, and safety protocols. Excellent organisational skills and clear, practical communication. The ability to inspire and motivate students across all abilities to achieve outstanding practical outcomes. A commitment to collaborative working within a practical, dedicated faculty.
