Key Account Manager Caribbean

JOB PURPOSE: We are seeking an independent Key Account Manager to join our team full-time to cover the Dominican Republic and Caribbean islands. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, consolidators, and tour operators to promote ticket sales and services. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Conduct presentations, product demonstrations and training sessions to familiarize clients with airline offerings and booking tools. Negotiate contracts, agreements, and incentive programs with travel partners to maximize mutual benefits Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities and provide market insights internally. Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales Support, revenue management and marketing, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives. Represent the airline at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to strengthen brand presence. Stay updated on airline products, policies, and industry developments to effectively communicate value propositions to clients. QUALIFICATIONS: Sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills Experience in developing sales strategies and meeting sales targets Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively Proficiency in CRM software Fluency in Spanish and English (C1-C2) Experience in sales in the tourism or airline industry required Must have own vehicle Basic knowledge of aviation or experience working in a travel agency
