Associate Veterinarian Opportunity | Houston, TX Suburb Pay: $175,000 - $200,000 + per year (Based on experience and role) Join a Progressive Private Practice in a Thriving Houston Suburb Where Compassion Meets Excellence Location: Confidential – Located in a highly desirable suburb south of Houston (near the Friendswood, Webster, Clear Lake, League City/Dickinson areas). We are a privately owned, progressive veterinary practice seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join our established team of three experienced doctors. Skilled, credentialed technicians ensure you can focus on what matters most — your patients. Day-to-Day Excellence Patient Load: Average of 20 patients per day with a comfortable 30-minute appointment time slot. Surgical Role: Typically 6-8 surgeries per week , though this load can be adjusted based on the doctor's interest (if you prefer more medicine, the practice can accommodate by utilizing existing surgical-focused doctors). Compensation & Benefits Details Competitive Compensation Structure Salary Range: $175,000 to $200,000 per year (Up to $200K based on experience and role). First-Year Guarantee: The $200K guarantee is achieved through a base salary plus production (ProSal) , with no negative accrual. Relocation support Potential Partnership and a defined part of the future growth plan. Work-Life Balance That Works for You Predictable Schedule: 4 days per week with no after-hours emergencies . Saturdays: 1.5 Saturdays per month (This typically means one full Saturday and one half-Saturday per month). Generous Time Off: Generous paid vacation (3 weeks) . 3 sick days . Paid Holidays (5 days): January 1st, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Half Days: Thanksgiving Eve and Christmas Eve. Comprehensive Healthcare & Professional Support Healthcare: Excellent PPO plan with a very low deductible and out-of-pocket maximum. The Hospital covers 50% of the approximately $700/month premium. Dental and Vision: 100% Hospital covered. Professional: Paid licensure, AVMA/PLIT coverage, and CE allowance. Pet Care: Generous employee pet care discounts.
