About the position
We are seeking experienced Fire Alarm / Intrusion Technicians to support the installation of fire alarm and intrusion systems on large commercial project sites throughout North Carolina. This role involves hands-on installation of devices and cabling, working primarily day shifts, with regional travel required. Technicians will travel for 2–4 weeks at a time in a company vehicle after completing orientation. Key Responsibilities Install fire alarm and intrusion system devices on large commercial sites Pull, route, terminate, and label low-voltage cabling Install panels, detectors, pull stations, horn/strobes, and intrusion devices Read and follow drawings, layouts, and installation plans Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of installed systems Follow all job-site safety policies and procedures Maintain clean and professional work areas Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience installing Fire Alarm and/or Intrusion systems Experience working on large commercial projects Ability to travel regionally within North Carolina for 2–4 weeks at a time Ability to work day shifts Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record Preferred Qualifications Experience with systems such as Notifier, Simplex, Edwards, Fire-Lite, Bosch, Honeywell, or DSC NICET certification (Fire Alarm) Experience installing intrusion, security, or access control systems Travel & Per Diem Regional travel throughout North Carolina Company vehicle provided after orientation Hotel accommodations provided Daily food per diem providedAbout the company
