Health, Safety & Environment Engineer

About the position

Recruitment Services team | Kariera Group is looking on behalf of General Mills , one of the oldest and most trusted food production and distribution companies, a Health, Safety & Environment Engineer at its industrial facility located in Oinofyta, Viotia. Main Responsibilities: • Ensure compliance with Safety and Environmental legislation • Monitor and manage the impact of regulatory changes on the business • Ensure completion and submittal of all required Environmental reports for the facility. • Inspect the site conditions (e.g. facilities, processes, tools, equipment), define possible hazards and propose corrective/preventative actions • Assess, investigate and track incidents and near misses and gather evidence about their causes • Construct and implement the annual HSE plant improvement plans • Determine training needs, design and implement HSE training programs (e.g. safety guidelines, emergency situations, use of Personal Protective Equipment etc.) • Advise the Plant Leadership Team and key stakeholders for HSE related gaps and help establish best practices in the shop floor • Monitors facility performance against S&E goals and objectives and communicates results to Central Safety Committee. • Additional tasks as assigned Required Qualifications: • Bachelor in Production/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or other similar background • Master in a relative area will be considered as an asset • Learning agility, analytical thinking • Strong communication and coaching skills • Proficiency in PC, MS Office software applications and data management • Fluency in Greek and English language The Company Offers: • An employee-focused culture and a dynamic work environment • Benefits such as private healthcare, transportation and performance bonus • Ways to help you grow your skill set through training and cross-functional experience
