Junior UX-UI Developer

About the position

Junior to Mid UI/UX Designer Location: Centurion, South Africa Reports to: Senior UX Designer Purpose: The role involves designing and refining digital experiences that are user-centered and impactful. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive interfaces, conduct user research, and contribute to the evolution of design systems and guidelines. Key Responsibilities Design and improve UI/UX for complex products. Conduct user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys). Translate insights into wireframes, prototypes, and polished designs. Maintain and evolve design systems and documentation. Support solution architecture, continuous improvement, and project delivery. Ensure compliance with governance and security standards. Requirements Education: Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT, Visual Communication, Graphic/Interaction Design, or related fields. Experience: 2-4 years in UI/UX design. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles, user-centered design, and best practices. Proficiency in Figma (preferred), Adobe Suite, and related tools. Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and front-end libraries. Familiarity with agile methodologies. Strong communication skills and MS Office proficiency.
