You will be responsible for the "behind-the-scenes" excellence that allows the Science department to thrive, with a specific focus on supporting Physics or Chemistry practicals. Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope Hazardous Materials: Ensuring the safe handling and disposal of chemicals and the secure storage of radioactive sources (for Physics specialists). Apparatus Setup: Designing and testing new practical setups to enhance the GCSE and A-Level curriculum. Team Collaboration: Working closely with the Senior Technician to ensure the smooth daily operation of all laboratories. Compensation & Benefits Essential Requirements: Strong scientific education and experience within a Physics or Chemistry classroom setting. Salary: £25,000–£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
