About the position

A highly respected secondary school in Derby is seeking an experienced School Business Manager to lead their Finance, HR, Operations and Administration functions from January 2026 . This is a senior role requiring strong leadership and strategic oversight. About the Role: This full-time position includes managing the school’s financial planning, HR processes, site operations, health & safety compliance, procurement, contracts and leading the administrative team. You will work closely with the Headteacher and SLT to ensure smooth and efficient school operations that support high academic standards.
