A successful and inclusive secondary school in Derbyshire is looking to appoint a dedicated Attendance Officer to support student engagement and safeguarding from January 2026 . The Role You will take responsibility for monitoring daily attendance, following up absences, liaising with families, and working closely with Heads of Year and pastoral teams. Early intervention is a key focus, and you’ll play a vital role in identifying patterns and supporting improved outcomes for students. The role involves regular communication with parents, maintaining accurate attendance records, producing reports, and supporting attendance meetings.
