A well-regarded secondary school in Loughborough is seeking a passionate Teacher of History to join its Humanities department from January 2026 . The Role You’ll teach History across KS3 and KS4 , delivering a curriculum designed to develop strong historical knowledge, critical thinking and extended writing. Topics are sequenced carefully to build understanding over time, and the department has a strong reputation for engaging lessons and solid exam outcomes. Teachers regularly use discussion, source analysis and extended writing tasks to develop students’ confidence and independence. There is scope to contribute to curriculum review and enrichment, including trips and themed history days.
