About the position

We are supporting a well-established Independent school in the Ipswich area that is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Design Technology from January . This is a full-time, permanent position , ideal for a teacher seeking excellent facilities, small classes, and a strong focus on practical learning. The Role You will teach Design Technology across KS3 and KS4 , with potential involvement at KS5 depending on experience. The department encourages a hands-on, project-based approach , enabling students to develop creativity, technical competence, and independent problem-solving skills. You will contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and the wider life of the school , including enrichment activities, design clubs, and showcase events. Experience with Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, or CAD software would be advantageous.
