About the position

We are seeking a dynamic, innovative and skilled Design Technology Teacher to join an Outstanding mainstream secondary school in St Albans . This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate DT practitioner to deliver high-quality lessons across KS3, KS4 and, where appropriate, KS5 , supporting students in developing creativity, technical competence and a strong understanding of design principles. As a Design Technology Teacher , you will deliver an engaging and practical curriculum that incorporates traditional workshop skills, modern manufacturing processes and design theory. The DT department is exceptionally well resourced, with purpose-built workshops, CAD/CAM facilities, 3D printers, laser cutters and full technician support.
