About the position
About the Role An Independent secondary school in Islington seeks a dedicated RE & Citizenship Teacher to join their humanities department from September. The role involves teaching Religious Education and Citizenship, fostering students' understanding of different faiths and civic responsibilities. We are looking for a skilled RE & Citizenship Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities Deliver engaging RE and Citizenship lessons across all key stages. Develop students' understanding of different faiths and ethical issues. Foster students' civic awareness and participation. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to the development of the RE and Citizenship curriculum. We require an RE & Citizenship Teacher who can perform these tasks. Organise and lead extracurricular activities related to RE and Citizenship. Qualifications and Experience Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Religious Education or Citizenship. Proven experience in teaching RE and Citizenship at secondary level. Strong subject knowledge and passion for these subjects. Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
