About the position

Begin your Geography teaching career at our outstanding school in Barking! We're seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Geography ECT to join our thriving Humanities department. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and dynamic Geography lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially 5). Prepare students for GCSE examinations and beyond. Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters critical thinking. Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including fieldwork and technology. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Geography curriculum. Participate actively in departmental meetings and extracurricular activities.
