A respected Catholic School in Westminster seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher for a part-time, permanent position. We are looking for an educator who can inspire a love of literature, language, and creative writing within a values-based learning environment. About the Role: Deliver engaging and varied English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering literature, language, and creative writing. Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, potentially incorporating texts with relevant ethical or moral themes. Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and creative pieces, providing constructive feedback. Contribute to extracurricular literacy initiatives or drama clubs. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English. A strong knowledge of the secondary English curriculum and effective teaching methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students. A passion for literature, language, and fostering creativity, with an appreciation for the values of a Catholic education.
