A vibrant Mixed School in Hammersmith seeks a passionate and fluent German Teacher to join our committed Modern Foreign Languages department. We aim to foster a love of languages and promote intercultural understanding within our students. About the Role: Deliver engaging and communicative German lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, developing students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Develop and implement effective lesson plans that incorporate cultural elements and cater to a range of learning styles. Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback. Contribute to the development of the German curriculum and participate in departmental initiatives. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Modern Foreign Languages (German). Native or near-native fluency in German. A strong understanding of the secondary MFL curriculum and effective language teaching methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students.
