A vibrant Mixed School in Westminster seeks a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher with a specialism in Physics to join our collaborative Science department. We are looking for an educator who can make physics accessible and engaging for students of all abilities. About the Role: Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on Physics. Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that incorporate hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and real-world applications of physics. Assess student progress through lab reports, presentations, and assessments, providing constructive feedback to enhance their understanding of physics concepts. Contribute to the development of the science curriculum and participate in departmental initiatives. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science with a strong background and specialism in Physics. A good understanding of the secondary science curriculum and effective teaching strategies for Physics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex physics concepts clearly. Strong practical skills and experience in laboratory work.
