Trust Administration Attorney Career Consulting Partners is working with a corporate firm that is looking to expand its Trust and Estate Administration Department. We are seeking a talented and driven Trust Administration Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join our growing Estate Planning team in Pasadena . This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who excels in a collaborative setting and is ready to take true ownership of sophisticated trust administration matters. Because this department is in an exciting early-growth phase, we are looking for someone who is energized by the chance to help build and shape it—not someone seeking to simply maintain the status quo. We have the resources, infrastructure, and leadership support in place; now we want a key contributor who is eager to help propel it forward. We also offer a flexible hybrid work schedule , allowing a balance between time in the office and working from home. Duties: Manage and handle all aspects of Trust Administration matters independently, receiving work directly from a Partner. Draft, review, and finalize all necessary documents related to trust administration, including trust instruments, legal correspondence, and court filings. Advise clients on a comprehensive range of estate planning and administration issues, including probate, will and trust preparation, executor and trustee responsibilities, and tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies. Work with clients concerning issues related to Estate Planning for cryptocurrency and NFT holders, charitable giving, and investment vehicles/long-term investment strategies. Maintain a high level of professionalism and client service while consistently meeting an annual billable hour requirement of 1,600 hours. Evaluate estate plans in light of life-changing events such as births, deaths, marriages, divorces, and incapacities. Requirements: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active membership in the State Bar of California. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience focused on Trust Administration and general Estate Planning. Demonstrated knowledge of estate, gift, generation-skipping, and income tax issues as they relate to estate and trust administration. Proven ability to work independently, manage a substantial caseload, and meet billable hour targets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
